India of my dreams

" Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high ...", the lines of the beautiful poem by Rabindranath Tagore gesture the vision of the then freedom fighters. 75 years have passed and yet the 'Nation of my dream' is far from realization. With the unreasonably multiplying growth of the country's population, the valuation of the rupee has been on the high.

Corruption, intolerance, hindrance in morality due to personal interests have been a few of the major cause of concern for the nation as a whole.

I wish to see my country go higher in ranks amongst the top nations of the world.  India, predominantly a holy country to be known for its spirituality should imbibe with affirmative concepts and lifestyles of the west and prosper in a more likely manner.

India of my dreams should not foster even a single individual going to them with an empty stomach. People need to believe in unity as the only mantra for counteracting internal conflicts and external infiltration.

I wish to see my country flourish in such a manner so that the world respects the tricolor and I feel blessed to be an Indian.
