THIRD  NEW NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 2020

This NEP 2020 was drafted by the committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Kasturrirangan a famous personality of ISRO.

Education is a great leveler and is the best tool for achieving economic and social mobility, inclusion, and quality.

1. According to NEP 2020 learning should be HOLISTIC, INTEGRATED, ENJOYABLE, AND ENGAGING.

2. The NEP is expected to make the education system more holistic, flexible, and multidisciplinary.

Key areas of focus:

i) ECCE - Early Childhood Care and Education.

ii) DIKSHA - Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing for teachers and students.

iii) Gender Inclusion Fund that is allocated for WOMEN and  TRANSGENDER people in NEP.

iv) Vocational Education from Class VI

v) Academic Bank of Credit ABC as per NEP 2020

vi) 360-degree Progress Card

vii) PARAKH - Performance Assessment Review and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development.

viii) Adult Education and Lifelong Learning

ix) Digital Libraries

x) Promotion of Indian Languages, Arts, and Culture

Moreover, students can understand diversity, culture, tradition, and knowledge of different parts of India. Towards this direction under 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat', 100 tourist destinations in the country will be history, scientific contributions, tradition, indigenous literature, knowledge, etc
